Expert Space

Welcome to Expert Space, Scholastic’s new online curriculum supplement that combines accessible, leveled content with interactive, personal learning tools to transform the way all students access information, build knowledge, and develop 21st Century skills.

Expert Space is powered by all of the same great content you know and trust from Grolier Online—more than 125,000 comprehensive articles written by noted experts in their fields. But as the next generation of Grolier Online, Expert Space enhances this content in several ways. Rich multimedia, including videos, slideshows, timelines, and more, helps bring the information alive. The content in Expert Space has been organized into effective structures called xSpaces, with each one aligning to either Science or Social Studies curriculum standards. The 100 xSpaces cover the topics students most need to learn and study. Finally, all the articles in an xSpace have been written at three levels, so content is now easily accessible to all students. Carefully vetted Web links are provided at each level as well.

Expert Space also includes a comprehensive set of tools and supports that will help you access all the content on this site. You can sign in as an anonymous user, but some of the tools will be disabled. To harness the full power of Expert Space, you must create a profile.
